Beban Park

Named after the Beban Family who lived on the 160 acres of land from 1930s-1950s Beban Park is Nanaimo’s premier recreation complex offering activities for everyone. You’ll find some of the city’s key recreational facilities and amenities located here; arenas, indoor swimming pool, social centre, soccer fields, playground, tennis courts, basketball hoops, equestrian centre, bike parks, community gardens, petting farm (seasonal), fitness circuit, dog off leash area, golf course and driving range, two artificial turf fields, BMX track and an off-leash dog park.
